Old Louisville Before/After

This project was quite a transformation. These walls had glued panelboard. Once removed, large amounts of glue and damage remained. Instead of ripping out everything and starting new, the decision was made to salvage the walls by skimming them with drywall mud back to normal. This decision had two benefits - less demo/dust/disruption for the buidling, and less enviromental impact (no need to have the drywall end up in a landfill). We skimmed the walls smooth, primed and painted two finish coats, and installed casings and baseboard.

Old Louisville Interior Repaint/Trim

This room was completely transformed with a bold color choice and an elegant 7-1/4" crown molding installation. The ceiling was heavily textured but we scraped it off and skimmed it smooth. Next, we installed the crown molding and painted it with Sherwin-Williams Pro Classic semi-gloss finish. Lastly, we 2 coated the walls with Regal Select Eggshell (Gentlemen's Gray) from Benjamin-Moore

Louisville Exterior Repaint - Before/After

This project shows the danger of ignoring regular maintenance of your home. Repainting exteriors that are in good shape is not a very expensive project. But repainting neglected exteriors are a costly repair. Our first step for exterior repaints is always pressure cleaning. Next, we scrape loose any peeling paint and lightly sand. All bare wood is primed with a primer/sealer. Next, 1 or 2 finish coats are applied. This particular project received 2 finish coats for extra protection. Don't delay your next painting project - it only costs more in the long run. Call (502) 851-1428 or contact us today for your free quote.

Louisville Historic Bathroom Remodel - Before/After

This bathroom was in need of some major repairs and updated. This was in a historic 200 year old farm house. For this bathroom remodel we started by  demoing the space and installing Greenboard. To gain more storage in the bathroom, the closet door was walled off and we built a custom closet in what was dead space in the room. We added two can lights over the shower, installed a heated tile floor and installed subway tiles in the shower. Due to the low ceiling of the shower, we tiled the ceiling as well to combat any moisture issues.
